Talisker – Storm

Talisker Storm is a single malt from the Talisker distillery. Its character is built on honey and smoke. The nose opens honeyed, with singed oak, a bandage-like note and bonfire smoke, and milk chocolate and apple sit behind. The palate is medium-full and polished, with honey, then a good measure of hot smoke, vanilla and gentle pepper. Sweetness builds as the pepper lingers, with sweet fruit and a touch of strawberry liquorice. The finish is woody and spicy without turning bitter, with good length, and the sweetness returns at the end.
