Talisker – Storm (70cl, 45.8%)

Talisker Storm is a single malt from the Talisker distillery on Loch Harport, on the Isle of Skye, bottled at 45.8% in a 70cl bottle. The distillery was founded in 1831 and sits at the foot of the Cuillin Mountains. The whisky is golden amber in colour, with a maritime character and a warming, peppery, lightly smoky quality. The nose opens with the sweetness of honey and vanilla. On the palate it is sweet, spicy, maritime and peppery, and the finish is long and balanced, lightly spicy and peaty.
