It is the first Talisker to be matured entirely in ex-bourbon casks.
The nose opens with honeyed sweetness, then strong peat smoke and salty notes. On the palate the peat smoke returns with chilli, full and mouth-filling yet easy to drink. The finish is long and matches the weight of the whisky.
