Talisker x Parley Wilder Seas is a limited edition lightly peated single malt from Skye, in a 70cl bottle. It is the first Talisker finished in XO Cognac casks, and was released in partnership with Parley for the Oceans.
The bottle is made from recycled biofuel-powered glass and decorated in ceramic with the topographical lines of Skye's coastline, a first for the distillery.
The nose has malt bread with sultanas, dates and dried figs, with brine, salt crystals and a little pipe tobacco. The palate turns from rich sweetness to salt, smoke and fruit, with a peppery lift. The finish is long, warming and lightly drying.
