Tamdhu – 10 Years Old (70cl, 43%)

Tamdhu 10 Years Old is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. Tamdhu is Gaelic for 'little dark hill'. The distillery was founded in 1897 and sold to Highland Distillers & Co two years later. It stood closed from 1927 to 1947, had its maltings renewed in 1951 and its stills enlarged in the 1970s. After another closure in 2010 it was sold in June 2011 to the independent bottler Ian Macleod, and production restarted in 2012.
