Tamdhu – Batch Strength Batch 8 (55.8%)

Tamdhu Batch Strength Batch 8 is a Speyside single malt from a distillery that matures only in Oloroso sherry casks. This batch used American and European oak Oloroso casks from Jerez, Spain. It is bottled at a cask strength of 55.8% ABV, non-chill-filtered and at natural colour. It won Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2025. A splash of water brings out candied citrus and spice. The nose is creamy vanilla and melting honeycomb. Sharp berries and sweet candied lemon peel lead the palate, and the finish is an elegant sherry oak one with hints of figs.
