Tamdhu Year of the Dragon 2024 is a batch strength single malt from the Speyside distillery, bottled at 58.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
Tamdhu has stood on the north bank of the River Spey since 1897 and matures its whisky exclusively in Oloroso sherry casks. For this release each cask was selected by hand, and a high proportion of them are first-fill.
The deep copper colour is natural, coming from the sherry casks and time alone. The bottling is a toast to the dragon and to a prosperous year ahead.
