This is a 1979 Tamnavulin single malt, matured for 39 years in a combination of first-fill sherry butts and bourbon barrels. It was bottled for the distillery's Vintage Collection. Tamnavulin was founded in 1966.
The nose offers Mediterranean oranges, figs, almonds and freshly baked ginger cake. The palate has pineapple, roasted coffee and Black Forest fruits, with a little smoke.
