A single cask Tamnavulin from Gordon & MacPhail's Connoisseurs Choice series. It was distilled in 1991 and matured for 31 years in a refill sherry puncheon. Gordon & MacPhail bottled it on 12 December 2022 at a cask strength of 51.7%, filling 418 bottles. The whisky is neither chill-filtered nor coloured.
The nose combines autumn spices with apple and hazelnuts. On the palate, vanilla fudge and blackcurrant meet a peppery edge of black pepper. The finish is full-bodied, with herbal notes that linger.
