This is a single cask Tamnavulin from Speyside, distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2023 by Berry Bros & Rudd. It matured in hogshead number 5544, and the edition is limited to 308 bottles at 52.8% ABV. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
Tamnavulin was founded in 1966.
The nose is green apples and pears with a touch of vanilla and floral notes. The palate is powerful yet balanced, with honey, malt and light spice. The finish is long and warm, with fine wood and fruit.
