Tamnavulin – 2011/2024 13 Year Old Moscatel Port Pipe Cut Your Wolf Loose (70cl, 51.2%)

This is a 13-year-old Speyside single malt from Tamnavulin, distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2024 by the independent bottler Cut Your Wolf Loose. It is bottled at a cask strength of 51.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The whisky spent 13 years in a refill hogshead before a final finish in a former Moscatel port pipe. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. The nose is a balance of fruity and sweet notes. The palate carries on the fruitiness alongside a fine sweetness, and the finish is long and leaves a pleasant warmth.
