Tamnavulin – 2015 10 Year Old Single Cask #301041 Lady Of The Glen (55.4%)

A 10 year old Tamnavulin single malt from Speyside, distilled in 2015 and bottled from a single cask, number 301041, for Lady Of The Glen. It was bottled at a natural cask strength of 55.4%, and the cask yielded 290 bottles. The whisky matured fully in a refill hogshead, which lets the apple orchard fruit of this medium bodied, sweet, light and grassy spirit come through. The cask was first brought in for re-racking, but its tropical fruit and sweet spice led to it being bottled as it was. The tasting notes mention green apples, golden syrup and honeysuckle.
