Tamnavulin Double Cask is a Speyside single malt bottled at 40% ABV. It is matured in American oak casks and finished in sherry casks. It is the first single malt bottled by Tamnavulin since the 1990s.
The nose is rich and warm, with apple, toffee and honey, sweet marzipan and subtle tangy marmalade. The palate is medium-bodied, with a light, refreshing smoky note, soft creamy pear, peach and pineapple, and a hint of Demerara sugar. The finish is rich, smooth and refreshing.
