Tanduay Asian Rum Gold is a gold rum from the Philippines, made from sugarcane molasses. It is distilled in a blend of column and pot stills, then aged in ex-bourbon barrels in the warm Philippine climate.
The nose brings caramel, vanilla and toasted oak with hints of tropical fruit and molasses. The palate is smooth and medium-bodied, with honey, dried banana and warm spice alongside buttery toffee and a little wood smoke. The finish is clean and lingering, with vanilla bean and golden sugar leaving a gentle sweetness.
