Tanduay Double Rum is a Philippine aged rum blending two reserves: a 5-year-old rum aged in bourbon barrels and a 16-year-old rum matured in Spanish sherry casks. The blend then rests to marry before bottling at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose shows molasses, oak spice and dried fruit, with vanilla and caramelised sugar. The palate is silky, with honey, roasted nuts, oak, dark chocolate, banana and warm spice. The finish is long and velvety, with toffee and tropical wood.
