This is a 10 year old single malt from Teaninich, a distillery in the Eastern Highlands, bottled for the Flora and Fauna series at 43% ABV.
The nose is fragrant, with fruit and a green note, cut hay, chamomile, wood resin, potpourri, a little winter spice and a gentle citric acidity. The palate is medium-bodied and pleasantly dry, with barley sugars and cereal, oily herbal notes, more citrus and a hint of espresso. The finish is dry and of medium length, with gentle cut grasses.
