This is a 10 year old Highland single malt from the Teaninich distillery, bottled independently by Simply Good Whisky at cask strength, 57.5% vol. It is a limited bottling, non-chill-filtered and uncoloured.
The whisky was matured in a first fill Madeira barrique, which gives it a fruity, sweet and spicy character.
The nose combines sweet grapes, dried fruit and honey with vanilla and a faintly winey note. The palate is full and intense, with caramel, dark fruit, spice and a pleasant sweetness. The finish is long and warm, with oak, spice and a lightly dry, fruity sweetness.
