This is an 11 year old Highland single malt from the Teaninich distillery, bottled by the independent bottler James Eadie as part of its own core range. It is bottled at 48.3% in a 70cl bottle.
After its years in cask, the whisky was finished in European oak Malaga wine hogsheads.
The nose is tropical, with mango and papaya, soft stone fruits, wax, a little hay and herbal tea. The palate is rich and creamy, with granola, floral honey, apricots and yoghurt-coated raisins. In the finish the creaminess lingers, with peach, green tea and ginger biscuits.
