This Teaninich is a 12 year old single malt bottled by the independent bottler James Eadie at 55.8% ABV. It matured for its whole time in a first fill bourbon hogshead and was bottled for the German market, in a run of 298 bottles.
The nose is ripe peaches and plums with stewed rhubarb, sugared almonds, vanilla cream and lemon curd. On the palate come soft white peach and jelly beans, then cola sweets, vanilla ice cream and pressed apple juice. Water brings out sharp citrus and crisp pear. The finish is long and rounded, ending with fruit juice and American gum sweets.
