Teaninich 13 Year Old 2010/2023 1st Fill Profiler Barrique – Lady of the Glen (70cl, 58%)

This is a 13-year-old Teaninich from the Highlands, bottled by the independent bottler Lady of the Glen as part of its Rare Cask series. It was distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2023 at 58% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. The whisky spent eight years in a refill hogshead, followed by a five-year finish in a first-fill Portuguese wine barrique. Only 262 bottles were filled. The tasting notes mention black cherries, a little hazelnut, chocolate and juicy citrus fruit.
