Teaninich – 14 Year Old Single Cask Strength (70cl, 58.1%)

A single cask Teaninich from a Northern Highland distillery, filled on 18 February 2007 and bottled on 12 April 2021 after fourteen years in an ex-bourbon hogshead. It comes at cask strength, 58.1% abv, is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The whisky shows plenty of fruit, with pear, apple and pineapple underlined by chocolate. On the nose are oat biscuits, fresh-cut grass and peppery spice. The palate offers sweet yeast bread, crisp green apple and candy floss. The finish is long, fruity and spicy, with autumnal notes.
