A Teaninich single malt, 15 years old, in a 50cl bottle at 53.1% ABV.
It finished for five years in a first-fill Pedro Ximenez hogshead, which gives dark fruit and spicy oak over a malty base.
The nose shows dried fruit with raisins, dates and figs, alongside honey, malty sweetness, orange peel, walnut, dark chocolate and a hint of cinnamon. The palate brings raisins and plum, toffee and strong malt, with cocoa, roasted hazelnuts and a light citrus note. The finish is medium to long, with sweet dried fruit, dark cocoa and spicy oak, growing drier.
