This is a ten-year-old Teaninich single malt from the Highlands, bottled in the Hepburn's Choice range by Langside at 46% ABV. It is a single cask release of 804 bottles.
The spirit was filled into one refill butt in 2007 and stayed there until 2018.
The nose is gristy malt and oats, with sugared barley and cooked berries underneath. On the palate come treacle, vanilla ice cream and porridge oats, with drying nutmeg and citrus adding depth. The finish is soft barley and drying spices.
