A 14 year old single malt from Teaninich, distilled in May 2008 and released in the Bodega Series at 52% in a 70cl bottle.
Part of its maturation was spent in a single first-fill oloroso sherry cask. The outturn was 190 bottles.
The nose is zesty marmalade, buttered walnut loaf and set honey. On the palate are candied nuts with juicy sultanas and currants, herbal barley, and hints of ginger and nutmeg. The finish brings chocolate almonds, honeyed orchard fruits and lingering cakey spice.
