This 11 year old single malt from Teaninich in the Highlands was distilled in 2009. A handful of casks were married for this small batch, chosen by Douglas McIvor, Master Keeper of the Quaich at Berry Bros & Rudd. It is bottled at 46% ABV.
The nose offers pear, lime, passion fruit and a subtle oak note. The palate echoes this, adding vanilla, honey and pleasant roasted notes. The finish is good.
