A single malt from Teaninich, distilled in 2013 and bottled at nine years old and 58.2% ABV in a 35cl bottle.
After its main maturation the whisky spent a further year in a Madeira octave, a small cask that brings the fruit and sweetness of the wine to the spirit. The colour is golden with a hint of amber.
The nose shows dried apricot, honey and burnt almonds, with mango, papaya, light oak and vanilla. On the palate there is caramel, raisin, red berries, cinnamon and nutmeg, with a silky texture. The finish is medium in length and warming, with sweet grape, oak, spice and a touch of orange.
