A Teaninich single malt from the 2013 vintage, nine years old, in a 350ml bottle at 58.2% ABV. It comes from the Highlands.
After its main maturation, the whisky spent a final year in a Tawny Port octave, a small port cask.
The nose offers dried figs and apricots with chocolatey nuttiness and a touch of toffee. On the palate come raisins, candied orange and caramel, with creamy chocolate, light tannins, honey and vanilla. The finish is long and warm, ending dry, with dates and fine oak spice.
