Teaninich – Special Release 1999 17 Year Old (70cl, 55.9%)

A 17 year old Highland single malt from Teaninich, distilled in 1999 and bottled at 55.9% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was released in the distillery's 200th year and was distilled before Teaninich underwent significant expansion. It reflects an older style of production, and is suggested as an aperitif or alongside Asian cuisine. The whisky is sweet and zesty at first, with herbal notes layered beneath toffee, lemon and apple flavours.
