Teeling Wonders of Wood Third Edition (70cl, 50%)

This is the third edition in Teeling's Wonders of Wood series, an Irish single pot still whiskey matured in virgin Swedish oak. It is bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle and is a limited edition. The mash bill is half malted and half unmalted barley. The nose combines spicy cloves and nutmeg with sweet hints of caramel and vanilla, plus fresh citrus and ginger. The palate is creamy, with plenty of spice and wood alongside honey, chocolate and nuts. The finish is medium in length, with wood, pepper and coffee.
