Teerenpeli 10 2015/2026 - Best Dram - 1st Fill PX Sherry Hogshead #06112015A

This is a ten-year-old Finnish whisky from Teerenpeli, made from peated malted barley. It was distilled on 6 November 2015 and matured in a first fill Pedro Ximénez sherry hogshead. Bottled unfiltered on 10 September 2026 by Best Dram, it combines a smoky character with the depth of the sherry cask. The nose shows ripe plums and raisins, shortbread and vanilla, with restrained wood. The palate is full, with dark chocolate and raisin fruit. The long finish brings coffee and wood, ending on spice.
