Teerenpeli Karhi is a Finnish single malt bottled at 43% in a 50cl bottle. It spends five to seven years in bourbon casks before a further year in Madeira casks. It is neither chill-filtered nor coloured.
The nose is gentle, with a hint of chocolate alongside ripe peach and sweet oak, plus fine wood spice and grassy touches. On the palate, nectarine and dried apricot meet creamy toffee in a full texture, with some pepper and a little peppermint. The finish is medium in length and soft, leaving creamy caramel and dried fruit.
