Tenjaku Pure Malt is a six-year-old Japanese blended malt, made by the Tenjaku distillery in Fuefuki, Yamanashi prefecture. It comes in a boxed 70cl bottle.
The whisky is aged in casks that previously held other spirits, and has a medium body and a velvety texture. The nose shows ripe fruit, sweet spice and a little peat. On the palate vanilla and malt lead into dark chocolate and a pinch of cinnamon, ending in a long finish.
