A 19 year old Glengoyne bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company as batch 2, an outturn of 1009 bottles. The label refers to the distillery's old name; Glengoyne was founded in 1833. It is bottled at 50.9%, non-chill-filtered and without added colouring. The nose brings spices, almond cream, milk chocolate, fruit tart and nougat, with autumn woodland and black cherries. The palate is gentle and mature, with black fruits, blood orange and gingerbread, then resinous wax, flowers, a little spice and thick toffee. The finish offers plums, some of them cooked, and spice from the wood.
