That Boutique-y Whisky Company Glengoyne 9 Year Old Batch 5 (51.1%)

This is a nine-year-old Glengoyne single malt, bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company as batch 5. It is bottled at 51.1% ABV, non-chill-filtered and without added colouring, in an edition of 109 bottles. The label refers to the distillery's old name, showing pilgrims burning their feet on the road in front of the distillery, which was founded in 1833. The nose offers brown sugar, scones with jam and cream, and heather honey. On the palate there is traditional cloudy lemonade, fragrant malt, almonds and yellow plums. The finish is lingering white pepper and cinnamon.
