The Balvenie 14 Year Old Caribbean Cask is a Speyside single malt from the Balvenie distillery in Dufftown. It spent 14 years in ex-bourbon American oak, then was finished in casks that had been seasoned with a blend of Caribbean rums. Malt Master David C. Stewart MBE oversaw the finishing project.
It is bottled at 43% ABV and comes in a 75cl bottle.
The nose brings toffee and honey with mango, guava and pineapple. The palate is rounded, with vanilla, sweet oak, dried banana and rum-soaked fruit, and the finish is long and mellow, with honey and oak.
