This is a single cask Bunnahabhain from The Cooper's Choice Golden Cut Collection, named 'Bonfires and Blackberries'. It is bottled at 50% without chill-filtration or artificial colouring, in a run of 900 bottles.
The spirit is heavily peated, which is unusual for a distillery generally regarded as one of Islay's milder producers. It was aged in a Port barrel, which adds a richness and fruitiness reminiscent of blackcurrant syrup, layered with intense malt and peat.
