The Daisen Blended Japanese Whisky Sakura Cask (70cl)

The Daisen Sakura Cask is a blended Japanese whisky made by the Kurayoshi distillery, in a 70cl bottle. It matured for three years in white oak casks, then spent a further three months in Sakura (cherry wood) casks. It is non-chill-filtered. The Sakura finish gives the whisky delicate cherry blossom aromas. The blend is made with pure water from Mount Daisen, and it is described as medium-bodied, combining floral elegance with a subtle sweetness.
