The Dalmore 12 Year Old Sherry Cask Select (70cl)

The Dalmore 12 Year Old Sherry Cask Select is a Highland single malt. It matures first in American white oak casks that previously held bourbon, which build the Dalmore house style of chocolate, orange and spice. It is then finished in a sherry made for Dalmore, a blend of classic Oloroso, aged Oloroso and sweet Pedro Ximenez. The nutty Oloroso character is balanced by the sweeter Pedro Ximenez casks. The nose is caramelised orange, ginger and raisins with honey. The palate brings dark chocolate and crushed almonds with a touch of cinnamon. The finish is sweet mango sponge, panna cotta and lemon.
