The Deacon is a blended Scotch whisky bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is a marriage of two distinct malt styles: rich, fruity Speyside malts and powerful, peat-smoked Islay malts.
The flavour is described as candied orange peel, sweet tea biscuit and thick, spicy smoke, with honey and peat running through it. The blend is summed up as sweet and peaty.
