The Deacon Blended Scotch (70cl, 40%)

The Deacon is a blended Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle, made from smoky malts from Speyside and Islay. The name refers to the title of deacon, given in Scotland to skilled master craftsmen. The Islay malts bring deep smoke, while the Speyside malts add a warm, country note. The bottle has an ornate pattern and a stamped mascot. The nose is charred orange, sweet biscuits and wood smoke. On the palate there is juicy orange with delicate spice and peppery peat. The finish is sweet and smoky, long and gentle.
