Chapter 18 is a single malt from The English Distillery, bottled in 2025 in a 70cl bottle. It marks over 18 years of distilling at the first registered whisky distillery in England.
The whisky is a vatting of ASB, PX, sherry and virgin oak casks, drawn from whisky aged 10, 12, 15 and 18 years. It is non-chill filtered.
The nose offers rich caramel, sweet cinnamon, red berries, fragrant apples and vanilla ice cream. On the palate, stewed orchard fruits sit with rhubarb and custard, boiled sweets, oak, burnt toffee and black pepper. The finish is long and spicy, with brown sugar and cinnamon.
