This is an unpeated English single malt from The English Distillery, released to mark Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee in 2022 and her 70-year reign. It comes in an engraved commemorative bottle, with 3,000 bottles produced.
The whisky was made from a combination of ex-bourbon, virgin oak, red wine and quarter casks, blending several cask styles into one fresh, balanced expression.
Nose and palate bring toasted almonds, crisp green apples and creamy milk chocolate, with gentle oak in support. The finish is clean and refreshing, with lingering sweetness and a crisp oak note.
