The English Whisky Smokey is the peated expression in the core range of The English Distillery, the Norfolk distillery formerly known as St. George's. It is an English single malt, first released in 2016, and it took over from the earlier Chapter bottlings of the distillery's peated spirit. It has a peating level of 45ppm and is bottled in a 70cl bottle without colouring or chill filtration. It is pitched at Islay whisky drinkers trying English peated whisky for the first time.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
