This is a 12 year old blended malt from The Famous Grouse, formerly called a vatted malt. Every whisky in it was distilled in 1987, and the blend includes malts from Highland Park, Macallan and Glenrothes.
The nose offers sultanas, figs, oranges, bananas and mint with a hint of smoke. On the palate it is creamy, soft and spicy, with citrus and nutty notes. The finish is long and dry yet sweet, with vanilla and a touch of smoke.
