A blended Scotch whisky from Matthew Gloag & Son, presented in a decanter, in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV.
The nose is soft and floral, with fresh-cut wild flowers, malted barley, toffee and honey over gentle oak and clean grain. The palate is smooth, round and balanced, returning to barley and toffee sweetness with ripe orchard fruit, a touch of wood spice and a faint background of peat smoke.
The finish is medium to light and clean, slightly dry and warm, with lingering toffee and soft oak.
