The Famous Grouse Perdiz Roja is a blended whisky from Matthew Gloag & Son Ltd, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is a collector's edition and comes in a case.
The nose is fresh, with candied fruit, shortbread and a light touch of citrus peel. The palate is smooth, silky and round, with nutty flavours, sweet spice such as cinnamon and ginger, and well-integrated oak.
The finish is of medium length, warm and balanced, and slightly sweet.
