The Fife Arms Blended Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl)

A blended malt Scotch whisky commissioned by The Fife Arms to celebrate the opening of Bertie's Whisky Bar. It was created in collaboration with the whisky writer Dave Broom and Alex Bruce, managing director of the independent bottler and distiller Adelphi, and comes in a 70cl bottle. Sherry casks give a rich fruitiness, the cask type most associated with the Victorian and Edwardian periods. Subtle smoke comes from Ardnamurchan, Adelphi's distillery on the west coast of Scotland, where the whisky is made from barley grown on Alex Bruce's family farms in Fife. The West Coast smokiness is balanced by a sweet, gentle, light fruit top note.
