The Formidable Jock of Bennachie is a superior blended Scotch whisky, light gold in colour.
The nose combines hay and cereal with a crisp nuttiness, some young grain and a light whiff of chimney smoke. The palate starts fairly sweet before drying swiftly. It is smooth, with peanut brittle and light fruit. The finish is medium in length, nutty and very dry.
