This is an official bottling of The Glenlivet 12 Year Old from the 1980s, in a 75cl bottle, the size used before EU harmonisation. The label describes the whisky as "Unblended All Malt Scotch Whisky", the wording used for single malt before the term was standardised.
The nose is apple blossom, fresh pear, vanilla and honeyed malt, with subtle waxy and cereal notes. The palate is gently sweet, with orchard fruits, light oak and a clean malty core. The finish is short to medium, clean and malty, fading faintly dry and floral.
