The Glenlivet 12 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky made at The Glenlivet Distillery in Moray, Scotland. It is matured in a combination of traditional oak and American oak casks and comes in a 75cl bottle. Its colour is a bright, pale gold, and the mouthfeel is light to medium in body.
The nose is delicate, with fresh green apple, ripe pineapple, citrus, floral blossom and sweet vanilla. On the palate there are sweet malt, juicy peach, pear, honey and a little oak spice. The finish is long, soft and warm, with lingering sweet fruit and gentle oak.
